FAQ
What schools ask before they start
Here are the questions school leaders most often ask. If yours is not here, write to us.
About the classification
Is classification mandatory for our school?
Under the draft regulation, classification covers every licensed private school and kindergarten; a school does not opt in. Each licensed branch is classified on its own.
Have the classification standards and weights been issued?
Not as of October 2026. The draft sets the six domains, and the standards, indicators and weights will be issued in instructions from the Minister. Until then, we work from the closest official reference in force: Instructions No. 4 of 2022 on Quality Assurance and Classification Standards and Indicators for Educational Institutions.
Is each branch classified separately?
Yes. Each licensed branch is treated as a separate institution, so it is assessed on its own and receives its own category and certificate. That is why we build a separate evidence file for each branch.
When is the first classification round?
No date has been announced yet. We estimate that preparing a single-branch school takes 6 to 9 months before its first official assessment, so starting early gives a school enough time.
Could our school’s category slip even if it improves?
Yes, because the category is a relative ranking: if other schools improve more, the branch’s position among them can change. So it is not enough for a branch to improve; its improvement has to be documented with clear evidence in every domain.
About our work
Do you guarantee our school a particular category?
No. The category is a relative ranking among schools across Jordan, and the decision is the Ministry’s alone. Our job is to bring the school to its assessment ready, with organized evidence for every domain.
How long does preparation take?
The diagnostic takes 2 to 3 weeks, the readiness programme about 5 months, and accreditation preparation from 6 months to 3 years, depending on the body.
Who will work with our school?
The whole Meyar team, not a single consultant. From the first visit we tell you who follows each domain, and the team reviews everything we deliver before it reaches you.
How do you set the cost?
We price each service as a fixed package per branch, based on the scope of work. After the diagnostic we send a written proposal with the duration, deliverables and cost, so you know everything before you sign.
Do we need the diagnostic if we only want an international accreditation?
Yes, because it shows the distance between the school and what the body requires before you begin, so you know the time and effort involved.
Do you work with schools outside Amman?
Yes. We are based in Amman and visit schools in other governorates as agreed.
Do you represent us before the classification committees?
No. The school deals with the Ministry directly, and we do not contact committee members about any result. No member of our team sits on committees that assess a school we work with.
Data and confidentiality
How do you protect our school’s and teachers’ data?
We work in line with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023. We do not sell or rent data, and we share it with no one outside the working team unless the school agrees or the law requires it.
Do you collect student data?
We do not collect personal data that identifies students. For results, we rely on aggregated data provided by the school.
Who owns the reports and evidence?
The school receives its reports and evidence files and keeps them, and we share them with no one outside the working team. Our tools, templates and methodology remain the property of Meyar.
