1. Acceptance

By using the website of “Meyar Educational Consulting LLC” or its dashboard, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website or the dashboard.

2. The nature of our services

1. 1.Meyar is an educational consulting company that prepares schools for the national classification and for local and international accreditations.
2. 2.We are not a classification, accreditation or certification body. We are not affiliated with the Ministry of Education, the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission or any awarding body, and we do not speak on behalf of any of them.
3. 3.The decision on classification or on granting accreditation rests with the awarding body alone, and we do not guarantee any result.

3. Website content

What we publish on the website is general information that introduces our services and the relevant legislation and accreditations; it is not advice tailored to your school. We aim to keep the content accurate and up to date, but legislation and awarding bodies’ standards change, so the final reference is their official texts.

4. Dashboard accounts

1. 1.The dashboard is reserved for those of our consultants, and of the authorised staff of schools contracted with us, to whom we grant an account.
2. 2.Each user sees only what relates to their role: a consultant sees the projects they work on or follow, and a school sees what relates to it.
3. 3.You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential, for enabling two-step verification, and for everything done through your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. 4.An account may not be shared with another person; each user is given a separate account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• upload personal data that identifies students, unless your school’s contract provides for it;
• upload any content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to access data or parts of the platform that are not intended for you;
• copy the platform’s content or tools by automated means, or republish or sell them;
• introduce malicious software or disrupt the operation of the platform.

6. Intellectual property

1. 1.The name “Meyar”, its logo, the website content, and the platform’s tools, forms and methodology are owned by Meyar or licensed to it.
2. 2.We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use them within the limits of the purpose for which they were made available to you.

7. Content you upload

Documents and data uploaded by a school remain its property. The school grants us the right to process them only to provide the agreed services, in accordance with its contract with us and the data processing agreement.

8. Confidentiality

Any information about schools, and any Meyar tools, that you access on the dashboard is confidential, and may not be disclosed or used outside the purpose for which it was made available.

9. External links

The website may contain links to the websites of official bodies or accreditation bodies. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content.

10. Limitation of liability

We provide the website and dashboard “as is”. We aim to keep them running and secure, but we do not guarantee that they will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect damage resulting from their use. Our liability for the consulting services is governed by the signed contracts.

11. Suspension and termination of accounts

We may suspend or terminate any account if its holder breaches these terms, or if the contract under which the account was created ends, while making the school’s data available to it in accordance with its contract.

12. Relationship with contracts

In the event of a conflict between these terms and a contract signed between us and a school or a consultant, the provisions of the contract prevail.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

14. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. We will publish the amended version with its effective date, and notify dashboard users of any material change before it takes effect.
